Designed to treat any amount of rust, QuitaOooxidos is a powerful water-based rust remover.
It works by dissolving and removing the treated oxide layer, allowing the metal to regain its original color.
It does not stain the metal unlike any transformer.
We can use it on any type of alloy, as well as ferric oxide stains or stains.
The gel format helps to get extra grip on any surface.

And how do you use it?

1. Using a brush, apply a layer of QuitaOooxido gel on the rusty area you want to treat. Leave the gel to act for a period of up to 4 hours, depending on the degree of oxidation present

2. Once the action time has passed, clean the treated area with a dry cloth or sponge to remove the gel and loosened rust. If oxidation persists, apply a new coat of QuitaOooxido gel and repeat the process until the rust is completely removed.

3. After removing the rust, use a rust protector on the finish.

Does it attack paint, gelcoat and similar treatments?
No, on the contrary, as its use is highly recommended to remove rust stains. We can use it without any problem on these or areas of the same style.
But how does this work, does it magically eat the rust and leave the sheet clean or does it make a film like the rust converter?
The product works by removing rust unlike any converter. It dissolves the oxide layer (forming a water-soluble complex), allowing it to be cleaned after use with a simple cloth and water. In no case does it act as a converter by generating a passive layer, that is, it removes the oxide, it does not convert it.
In some cases, if the rust has not removed the protective layer, cleaning and drying the product well may remove it.
Can it be used to remove rust from chrome parts?
When we apply it on delicate parts, we will be careful to see how the product works. It is highly recommended to test it beforehand on an inconspicuous rusted area. Generally, treating rust spots for a few minutes to a few hours will do the trick.
